Exemption of the Tuition and Fees

It is a policy of Dhammakaya Open University to support and facilitate the learning of monks, novices and nuns about Buddhism. For this purpose, DOU has exempted monks, novices and nuns from any tuition and fees for any course. However, after registering for the course, if homework and exam papers are not submitted to the University and the student cannot pass the exam, a monk/novice/nun must re-register for the same course in the following semester. Since re-registration incurs extra expenses for DOU, DOU will charge a fee of USD 5 or Baht 200 to offset these costs.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS REGARDING PAYMENT

A USD 5 or Baht 200 late fee is assessed if tuition and fees are not paid by the deadline. DOU reserves the right to make changes that affect the policies, fees, curricula, or other matters. The University reserves the right to alter, add or delete fees.
